Hunting Southeast Kansas questions.

Hi everyone,
I just joined the forum and have a few questions about Kansas. I have drawn a firearms permit for unit 11. This is my first year hunting Kansas. I have checked out the Mined Land Wildlife Area and found some pretty good areas well off of the easy accessible parts. I don't mind walking in a long ways and staying all day to harvest a good buck. I am just worried about the pressure from other hunters. Does anyone know if many guys do this in the Mined Land Wildlife Area? As an alternative, I am open to leasing private property if anyone has or knows anyone with some available. Even small acreages are acceptable if they are in the right location. I don't have enough money this year to break the bank, but I am willing to pay a decent price. I am a hunter who respects the landowner and respects other hunters as well. I am a landowner in Oklahoma and know what it is like to own hunting property. If anyone has any leads, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Have have noticed alot of posting on craigslist for hunting leases, just look under the Kansas City craigslist.
