Hunting the strip coal mines in West Virginia.

I've hunted these strip jobs for the last ten years in the area i live, and i've realized that the deer that live there can easily be patterned. Also the bucks can grow very large and very smart. I have a few bucks that i have harvest threw the years from these places they're very nice quality bucks. I've also witnessed the rut in these areas and that is very seldom seen in this state. I recommend if you have the opportunity to hunt these reclaimed areas make sure they are at least 10 to 15 years old. For a opportunity to kill a mature buck i suggest to hunt these areas. The abandaned strip mines around here are very good fishing holes also.
