I got my new bow!

Postby NYBuckhunter » Sun Jul 27, 2008 5:55 pm

I picked up my new bow today! Its a brand new leftover 2007 PSE Octane. I got the Limbsaver peep sight and the Eastman Outfitters Carbon Stabilizer. I installed my rest from my old bow for now and my sling. I just have to have the brass thingy (cant remember what its called) taken off of the string, put the string loop on and get the screws I need for my sight and iwill be ready to finally start shooting again! Anyone that remembers, I dropped my old PSE last season and cracked a limb. I got a hell of a deal on the bow, it was on clearance at Gander Mountain, so I couldnt pass it up! Heres a pic!

I got my bow back today, the site is on, loop is on and the rest is center tuned. It cost me $5 whole dollars to get it done at D ick's Sporting Goods. I got home and went to get my arrows ready and discovered that my practice tips got lost in my recent move. Damn! Now Ill have to go get some tips tomorrow and finally be able to shoot! WoooHooo! :D

Do you ever get the feeling like you're a kid about to go on his prom date? You know you're really close you just can't quite get there. :D

LOL, Just got done shooting mine. I went out right after I left that last post, so Ive been out there shooting for the last 3 hours. I took a few breaks, but I did so much shooting I have a big red, numb area on my wrist from my release and I cant hardly feel my shoulders! Man, it feels great! I am in love with this bow, its so smooth and fast compared to my old one.
