Indian Lake Opening Day

Hows everyone doing. Well the season is going to be here in a couple weeks. Last year for the first time me and my hunting buddy made a trip up north to Indian Lake for a the early season bow opener. We hiked back the trail to Bullhead Pond and hunted hard for a couple days. We saw very little deer sign. Didnt see a single deer the entire time we were there. Saw a couple turkeys down by indian river but that was it. I was wondering if anyone out there could help us out. Maybe some you guys have been up there and know of some other parking areas or other state land we could target. Thanks for any help anyone is able to share.
