Does anyone have any suggestions for an inexpensive inline muzzleloader?
I want one that uses 209 shotgun primers and can put a scope on it.

I've good luck with mine from Traditions. You can get them in the 200-300 range. Nothing extremely fancy, but than again that ain't muzzleloaders anyways.

Good luck.

I shoot Thompson Center Arms. It is the 50 cal. Black diamond. They are between 2 and 3 hundred dollars if I remember right. The only thing is that I shoot a musket cap.

i shoot a knight but have heard good things about CVA which performs well for a cheap price. it uses 209 primers and cleaning and loading are extremely simple because it is a break open

whatever gun u choose good luck :D

My buddy bought the CVA Buckhorn Magnum from Wal-mart for $99. It uses up to 150gr. of powder and round balls or powerbelt sabots. Great shooting rifle and accepts a scope.

I shoot a savage 10MLII smokeless. Can't say enough good about it. It will shoot all types of powder if your state doesn't allow smokeless. It is however more pricey..I have a Black Diamond, Pedersoli, Austin Haleck and a traditions lightning lightweight all give excellent results. There are so many manufacturers of muzzleloaders competing for sales that finding one in your price range should be realitively easy. Just get used to it and know its limitations.
