Info on deer in North Carolina

Hi, I am a junior in high school and I live in western Tennessee. I am considering going to college at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and being an avid deer hunter, I would appreciate any information that ya'll can give me on the quantity and quality of deer in Forsyth and surrounding counties.
