I just bought some Japanese Honeysuckle seeds i would like to plant in a high deer density area . I know they are invasive but will the deer eat them before they take over?

It depends on how much you plant, but I doubt that they can eat all of it before it takes hold. It is a fast growing plant and will take over an area if not controlled properly.... which is almost impossible to do.

We had some on our fence around our yard. We staked a goat to the ground with a length of rope and it took him all summer to clean up our side if the fence(1 acre yard). The next spring and summer, we let the neighbors tie him on their side and clean it up. Once it was eat down, we sprayed and that took care of the rest of it, but we are still seeing a little growth, but we can take care of it by pulling it up. We had the goat approx 15 years ago....
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

I would check with your local and state regulations. Planting an invasive species may be illegal in your area.
