Considering the laws on shipping guns,cant blame you for not wanting to ship it.Suggestion...once you get it sold,have your local gun shop ship it to a shop near the buyer,then you are legally in the clear.Just an idea.
I did this once.Depending on the gun shop the transfer fee is anywhere from 25 to 75 dollars.Most states the reciever only has to have a FFL.In my case i found out the hard way after i purchased the gun that the sender has to have one as well.So i had to pay transfer fees twice.Good thing i got a really good deal or it wouldnt have been worth it.
