Lake Don Pedro for Mule Deer?

Postby Dan » Sun Feb 13, 2005 10:38 pm

My name is Dan and this is my first time to this site. We just purchased 180 acres near Hwy 120 & 49 near Lake Don Pedro (NE California near Sonora) and was wondering if anyone had any experience hunting deer in that area. I understand there are Mule Deer in that region.

That's zone D6 - unfortunately you won't find many deer in the area during the season, your prop falls into the category of winter range. You may find some resident deer, but they're more likely blacktails rather than their bigger cousins the mule deer.
