Laser bullet/sighting in question

hey all, i got a win. 270 and my dad's got an 30'06 and we got one of those bullets/laser that you put in and you measure out 25 yards, sight it in with the scope, then your good to go. i was wondering if anyone else has used this product? another question is if it's dead on at 25 if i move back to 50 or 75 and so on how much will it be off??? any answers would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

IMO, those are just like getting the gun bore sighted. Set your scope to the dot at 25 yards and that should get you on the paper at 100. You still need to sight in your gun with the bullets you are going to hunt with.

I have to agree with Doc and NY. Please don't hunt with those rifles without shooting them on the range first.

You HAVE to remember,,,bullets dont act like light. SIGHT IN IS CRITICAL, you should fire atleast 2 boxes rounds each (seperate trips)just to be familiar before hitting the woods.
