Hey, and thanks for trying to give me soem advice here. We have been feeding the birds in our backyard during the winter for the last year or so, using bird seed and corn on some pieces of wood. A few days ago we noticed about 6 deer eating from the picnic table about 25 feet from our house. They saw us in the window watching them and didnt even care. We live in a very rural area surrounded by woods so they are very common. A few nights later there were upwards of 10 deer eatinf form the same 4 ears of corn, so my dad and i built a 'trough' through looking at more expensive feeders online. We filled it with corn, and put a salt lick up. We also purchased some liquid feeder, which says to put on the ground...but the ground is covered in snow...so my question is can i put some of this on the corn, or on the salt? Would it be ok to put it in maybe a bucket near the feeder? It wont freeze because (believe it or not, this stuff is actually an ice melter-) Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. My father is a semi-professional (if this is possible) photographer, so if we get em to come around more ill get some pictures for yall Thanks!!!!!!!!
