What county you thinking of? Our DNR website has a list of outfitters with contact info, location etc. Most locals dislike the outfitters to say the least so I doubt you get much info this way. Ones I know are mostly crooks. Few here anymore are in it for anything but the money. Theres alot of fly by nighters too. If I was coming here I would ask several questions but these for certain. How many hunter's a week? How many acres? How much huntable acreage(trust me this is a biggie)? Can we use our own stands? How long have you been in business? Can I have phone numbers or contact info from previous hunters successful and unsuccessful? We had one "outfitter" south of us here that had 500 acres he was outfitting, only problem was only 60 was timber/thickets, rest was flat crop fields. First few guys in every year killed a few deer but the poor blokes afterwards were stuck. October 1st till the last day of bow season the land was never idle. Old crew out by noon new crew in at 1pm. Good Luck, ask questions and get references you'll do fine. P.S. Big M Hunt Club isnt one you want to try. I can give you a big list of the ones to avoid.
