LOOKING FOR OUT OF STATE HUNT

Im looking to go on an out of state hunt.Colorado,Wyoming,Arkansas etc...Im looking for leads on how to find info on this.Im not looking for a guided hunt,i want public hunting land to where i can camp and walk into whatever area i hunt.All replys and info will be appreciated[/i][/b]

1st off, welcome to DHC.

2nd, You may have started a little late, but thank goodness for the internet. Some states require that you apply for tags by a certain date, some states dont. This late in the year, I would look into states that you dont have to appy.

That is the best advise I can give to you, as I have never hunted out of state.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

How do i find out which states do and dont have deadlines?Trail and error?

I would write down which states you want to hunt, then go to each states DNR site and start reading about hunting regs. Most pertinant info will be close to the beginning.
