looking for public land in Kansas...

Hey guys. New to this site. I am wanting to go to Kansas, Oklahoma, or even Nebraska. Mostly in that order. The problem that I have is that I can't afford $4000.00 to pay an outfitter. Has anyone hunted any public land or know any ranchers in this area that will let you hunt? I don't even mind paying someone if they will let me hunt. Thank you in advance for your help.
