Looking to replace the stock on my Weatherby rifle

Hello. I have a Weatherby .300 wthby magnum with a synthetic stock that I bought for a song. I am looking to replace this with a different stock, either deluxe or laser mark. My question is this: is this an easy job that I can do myself or is this something I should take to someone to have it done?
