In Ontario, and I believe most other states and provinces, selling wild game meat (or wild animal parts) is illegal. You should try to find a game farm that sells venison or a hunter that will share meat with you for free.

its illegal here also thats why i was asking.... i have no problem at all sharing meat with someone who was less fortunate as me to fill their tag or even to someone who doesnt hunt but loves venison. and ESPECIALLY to someone who doesnt hunt or cant hunt that NEEDS food to feed their family. I am a STRONG supporter of the "hunt for the hungry" program. I donate at least one deer a year from my hunts to the program. and my family and i own a whitetail deer farm and like any kind of farm, we have accidents. deer can break a leg just as easy as a cow. a "lame" deer to us is as useless as a "lame" cow to a dairy farmer. all animals we "cull" out are donated to the "hunt for the hungry" program. Those of you that done know, you can go to their website and they have a list of all the meat processors in your area that you can take your animal to them and they will process it for the hunt for hungry program and get it to the correct people. all you have to do is drop it off. some may charge you like $20 for a processing fee but lets face it.... I will gladly donate $20 to feed a local family in need. and if you get a reciept you can even write it off on your taxes as a donation.
