BH, I don't know what you are shooting now or how experienced you are but Mathews, as well as a lot of other companies, are making some outstanding equipment. I shoot a Switchback and I love it. The Drenalin is supposed to be an upgrade and if you want to shoot a Mathews I would stay with what you got. It doesn't make sense to trade down to a Switchback. But you also may want to look at other less expensive bows. The shop where the bow was bought could probably set you up with an entire package, including rest, sight and arrows for what you have in that Drenalin. According to the website it retails for $849. If you are just starting out that could get you a lot of equipment as well as a quality bow. But after saying all that I wouldn't get rid of my Switchback for anything. I guess in the end it all depends on what you want to do and maybe the best advice is go to the pro shop and talk to them. A bit of advice; I probably learned more about archery and bowhunting just talking to the people who come into the shop and shoot at the range there, than I did from any other source.
