If you are the grunt and rattling type, this is a nice combination that should bring in any big buck. Most people think that they need a big set of rattling antlers in order for the sound to be effective and loud enough. That is not the case however, because if you use too big of rattling antlers, the buck will know what he is up against. Bucks can get an idea of how big "the two bucks fighting" are by the sound of the clashes you make. Use medium sized antlers when rattling so any decent sized bucks in the area will feel comfortable coming in to see the action, if you use too big of rattling antlers you will scare too many deer away. Here is a good combination of grunts/rattling.

1. Do one slightly loud grunt.
2. Wait 5 seconds and do a pretty heavy clash
3. Then do about 30-45 seconds of rattling
4. Wait 10 seconds and follow with a series of 4 or 5 short grunts.
5. Heres the kicker ---> Do a nice medium length doe bleat...then wait.

If there are any bucks in the area BE READY.

Great tip! Especially for beginners who are starting hunting. Also, just make sure you do short bleats because if you let the whole can go it sounds like a warning bleat sometimes. That's if you use a Primos Estrus Doe Can.
