Montana non res draw

Trying to draw in MT for combo elk/deer as non res. Is this typically a multi year, need many points wait? Brief research shows Gravelly's in Unit 3 an area somewhat reasonable for a do it yourself hunt... Any answers or thoughts appreciated.
