Greatest population of moose is in prince george British Columbia, they have a few guided outfitters towards bear lake and the parsnip river, vast area and quite a selection of game. Prices range from 6000 to 8000 thousand I'm not sure about the prices but I'm sure I'm close. I took my son up there and he called his first moose in and shot it at 80 yds, juring our hunt we went threw the guide camp and I have to say there well set up and I'm sure would put you into some nice moose habitat. Just keep in mind the grizzlys grow pretty big up there. Whenever I go up there I always hunt the willows which there is tons of sighn traveling threw them. Last year we picked a patch of willows that covered the mountain side and in a few days called in 8 different bulls the closest about 25 feet away great experiance for any hunter. Good Luck in your venture.
Isn't there good moose hunting in Wisconson? If not, you might be able to do your own trip to Ontario, although I'm not sure how it works with hunters from out of province. That might be the cheapest way. Check out the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources web site. They will have lots of info about non-resident moose hunting. www.mnr.gov.on.ca
We hunt in Northern Ontario (Sudbury, North Bay area) and this season we got a bull, a cow, and 2 calves over 12 guys. We seen a hell of a lot more moose just never got a shot off.
Ive been thinking about a 2008 moose hunt in Newfoundland. The prices seem reasonable, even for a moose/caribou/bear combo hunt but upon looking at reviews on the 'net it seems as though there are a lot of scams and fly by night outfitters up there. Lots of complaints and bad reviews. Some outfitters/guides have nothing but bad reviews, not a single good one.
Others are of course mixed but it seems as though you need to be extra careful as to who you choose if you go there.
Anyone here have any good recommendations for a NF outfitter?

2 calves? srry. isnt that called ruining the future sport.
I never seen one thing talking about Alberta, I don't know why everyone talks about NL as they don't have very many moose and the ones they do have are small. BC is great but usually costs more and I find Alberta to be better for population and even size now a days since most areas are draw for residents over the past 10 years. Alaska Yukon moose are really expensive. I have guided all over and I have never seen an area to equal the good areas of Alberta especially for the cost. Here is a vid of some of the moose hunting we have had over the last few seasons, really proves what can happen in the right area of Alberta.
