MOOSE in CT while whitetail hunting and a rare occurance

Postby Buck Shot » Sat Sep 23, 2006 7:38 pm

Well guys I finally have something to post about and man am I excited. I thought that there was a thread from the other day talking about moose. Anyway I set up my very first trail camera last week and hoped that I programmed it right and boy did I ever. I went into the woods today where my stand stood and in a bad spot for deer I might add, I just didn't like it not enough sign and that is what my cam is for. The lack of time to scout, so I grab my stand and begin a little scouting adventure. I found a terrific spot along the brook with what looks like an interstate highway of deer trails. So I set up and go back and take the camera off of the tree and grab some lunch. After fighting with the PC to get my pics in hopes of some nice deer. There was none and as I scroll down I am getting mad and then I see something as shocked as you might be I opened up the thumbnail to see this picture of a MOOSE. Holy s*#!. I couldn't believe it. It is very cool I knew that they are there by the landowner telling me they saw one three years ago and in colebrook around town which is where this photo comes from. I really need help posting this picture for everyone to enjoy. I am going to call the DEP tomorrow to see if anyone has every got a picture in CT yet with a game trial of a moose. This camera is great and thanks again to PROGERS for telling me to buy this thing. I can't wait to see what it brings me next week where I just hung my stand today.
