More gun banning legislation

Postby Bone_Collector » Fri May 29, 2009 6:36 am

Don't know if this has been posted before.

Our new Attorney General has already said firearm restriction is one of his major issues.

This takes literally 2 clicks to complete. Please vote on this gun issue question with USA Today. It will only take a few seconds of your time. Then pass the link on to all the pro gun folks you know. Hopefully these results will be published later this month. This upcoming year will become critical for gun owners with the Supreme Court accepting the District of Columbia case against the right for individuals to bear arms.

First - vote on this one. Second - send it to other folks and ask them to VOTE! - then we will see if the results get published. Vote in the USA Today poll - click on the link below. The Question is: Does the Second Amendment give individuals the right to bear arms ?

Wow...the results of that survey pretty clearly show where the vast majority of this nation stands.

On another, slightly related note. I just read about Obama's Supreme court nominee. Sotomayor is very anti-gun. She claims that the 2nd Amendment doesn't apply to states, only the federal government. Basically, a state could say, we don't want guns, so you can't have them. Really comforting to see that on the Supreme court.

Our constitution was put in place to LIMIT gov. No wonder why Obama hates it.
