Here is my second doe of the season. Took her last SAT morning. I was freezing and shaking until I spotted 3 does coming my way. Had to wait until I got a good shot and finally the lead doe stepped into a 2 foot area between some saplings but then turned around and looked over her shoulder. I thought maybe a buck but no such luck. She turned back and was walking toward me at a slight angle. I squeezed the round off and after the smoke cleared I had no idea were she ran. 1 doe ran off and the other doe stayed. I tried to load but I was stiff and shaking. By the time I did get loaded the loan doe had run off. I went to check for blood or hair and after 2 mins I found both. Followed the blood trail about 40 yards and found her piled up under a dead fall. 295 gr powerbelt h/p did it's job once again. Took out lungs and liver because of the angle she came in.
