Since the accident I had I feel greatfull to be able to do anything at all. The days I got to hunt after surgery and all have seemed to be the best yet. I guess i am just greatfull to be out there.

Nice deer! Where did they come from? I'm down here in Lewes and bagged 0 last week, but I did see a few big boys!

another bow shot buck by one of my friends.

Postby bambeklr » Sun Oct 22, 2006 12:09 am

I told my friend to go and sit in the stand I had put up behind my house on some state land that never gets hunted. The parcel is very small. Alot of people dont even know it is owned by the state. They have been doing this early october doe season here in delaware and the adjacent farm has had alot of pressure this weekend. I knew the deer would be pushed in there. It is all green briars and holly trees. He called me at 7:30 and sent me the pic by camera phone.

Nope stay away, theres no deer anywhere in this state! Delaware is no different than anyother state with large agricultural areas.

Those are some sweet bucks man. I am guessing that last one was taken two weeks ago? I nailed a fat mamma this past Friday with my new 20ga H&R.

He adctually killed it the other night with his bow. You are allowed to kill a buck during the doe days as long as you do it with your bow.
