My '08 kills

Absolutely nothing to brag about, but I just thought I would share my 2 kills this year (2nd and 3rd deer ever). The spike is my first with a bow (OH) and second deer ever. The 5 pointer is my first with a muzzle loader (PA). After having a dry spell since 2005, it was nice to get a few deer and put about 140 pounds of venison in the freezer, even if they aren't monsters. I stopped hunting in Ohio because my family all lives in NE Ohio and therefore we hunt at our family cabin in PA. Since PA hunting hasn't been good for us lately and I got a buddy into hunting here at home, I took bow hunting back up and started hunting here in Ohio. I wish my buddy would have got one, I want to keep him interested. Having someone to hunt with has been much more fun that hunting alone. Too bad my wife doesn't hunt or even eat venison

They look of similar size to most of the bucks we get in our hunt camp. Nice deer.
