This is my new 7.62 M-14 MainnBattle Rifle. Its called the SOPMOD SASS battle rifle. Not what you are used to seeing from a M-14.But its accurate as all get out.I love this beast.
Trigger pull is also adjustable, tuned it with about 2.5 pounds of pull on it.Going to put a quickpoint on it and a laser/flash light combo under the barrell.
Well if you are sitting down I will tell you how much it was, before the other stuff.Ready?Okay,it was $3,500 as you see it in the photo.Never thought about squirrels with it.But bust into my house, you loot I shoot.
so is there a military that uses that thing for its primary weapon or what?Im just curious cause i dont know much about those kind of rifles. But here lately they have really been catching my eye.
Some spec ops teams do use a version of this yes.Is it standard issue,no.The SASS stands for special assault sniper series so its a multi use.Not mission specific like a Barrett 50 cal sniper rifle or a M-4 asualt rifle is.Normally true sniper rifles are built stock first to fit the shooter where this is built with adjustable butt stock option so it can be fitted to anyone.
Nice gun Richard! Speaking of Barretts, your gun was cheap compared to the used Barrett I saw at the gun show this year. That one was hovering near $10k.
