Nebraskan wanting to go dog hunting for deer

Hello all,

I am a Nebraskan who will be in Virginia visiting the in-laws the week after Christmas.

I REALLY wanna go hunting deer with dogs, as I have never had this opportunity where I live because it is illegal here. Not looking for anything spectacular, I would be thrilled simply hunting does this way.

Anyway, if you would be willing to take me or know someone who might, please contact me or reply. I have lots of good hunting in Oklahoma and Nebraska and would be willing to return the favor. Might even be willing to pay a little to hunt depending on the situation.

To be honest, I'm not a fan hunting with dogs. However, I'm sure one of the community members can accommodate you. We better see some pictures of the hunt as well!

I know of a club that hunts with dogs every Thursday and Saturday morning. I will see what we can do to get you set up. Where in VA are you going to be? The hunt club is in the SE part of the state.

Where will you be staying in Va.? We have many Dog clubs across the eastern part of the state,most allowing visitors throughout the season.I know you will not want to drive clear acroos the state to hunt.

I will be in Williamsburg the last week of December.

Lot's of dog running clubs in that area. I still hunt ,when I deer hunt, but I tend to waterfowl hunt when it's in season. Good Luck, hope someone can get ya hooked up!

Yeah, I got it, sorry I have not gotten back to you yet. It has been crazy around here. I am going to talk to my contacts that hunt with dogs and see if I can work anything out.
