ARCTIC CAT three years ago i bought an arctic 250 4wd w/ 2500# winch I went with the manual shift 5spd. which also comes with a 3 range diff.,granny, mid. and high range and I'm really hard on it , this thing is really impressive for a little machineI've replaced numerous parts cosmetically due to the demand I put on it I have a small 4 bit bottom plow a 6 pan disc and a snow blade I do our dove hunting sunflower patches and plow my driveway and my dads driveway which are 300' each although missouri doesn't get hammered real hard with snows 300' of 4 to 8 inches of snow aint no fun in anybodys book. My selling points to look for were fuel capacity ground clearance and hp. and torque. go get on one and drive it you won't be sorry.

Big Punn, it's hard to go wrong with a Honda. I've got the Rancher (350cc) and I weigh 200lbs, it does everything I need it to do. The 2005 Honda Foreman is a 500cc bike, and the Rubicon I think is 700cc. Both are great bikes, easy electric shift, great shocks/suspension, and reliability. I've got friends with both and they love 'em. I just don't like the controls/reverse/4wd shifters on Artic Cats or Polaris.

I love my hondas. But If I were gonna get a 4 wheel drive I would put my money on the artic cat. For the money you cant beat those machines. They have all kinds of options. My friend got one at the end of hunting season for a little over 3,000 new. 4 wheel drive and automatic. It was red but hey when you looking at a price for a bike like that it doesnt matter. If I were you I wouldnt get a all time 4 wheel drive. You cant ride them on pavement or hard surfaces it tears up the cv joints in front wich is powering your 4 wheel drive. Get manual 4 wheel its easier on gas and easyier to turn around.

My vote goes to Polaris. After significant research, I've decided the ATV that best suits my needs is a 2007 Polaris X2 Deluxe 500.

It has a 6 gallon tank, 500 cc with EFI, rides two up, will carry 400 lbs. on the rear rack, 4 wheel EBS and has selectable turf mode, 2 WD and AWD.

They are just starting to be delivered, but since season's over I'll likely wait until this summer to buy one.

Well, it ain't gonna do ya no good this year dragging out a deer!

Let's see some pics of your ATV's that you have. I like Honda, always bought Honda's and always will. I like their product and their service. Here is my BEAST! It's a 2002 Honda Foreman 450ES 4X4 with the electric shift on the handle and elecric 2X4/4X4 swith on the handle as well. Got a nice winch on the front just in case I need to pull somebody else out! I can put 8 bags of corn on it and it don't care. Can haul 2 full grown adults and 1 full grown buck on the back as well. Rides great, pulls great, she's a real work horse around the farm.
