i have scouted since July walking the edge of the woods looking for tracks after rain and observing crop damage i had plenty of sign almost everywhere since Irene came and dumped 8 inches of rain on us when the ground was already soaking wet from previous rains only a week before the season opened and now i have seen nothing and only a quarter of the sign and of course the mosquitoes have multiplied big time so bad ive never seen it this bad the corn has not been shelled is it possible the mosquitoes can run them out to a bigger woods that is adjacent or just hanging out in the corn more

Most of the deer were probably floaded out of their bedding area or their common route of travel. Things should go back to normal once the water is down.
