The Diamond Outlaw is low to medium bow. It is loud and heavy. You could purchase silencers for it to help but there are many better bows out there that are not too much more expensive and shoot a lot better. I personally shoot the Bear Attack which in really good comparison to those $1000 bows. I got mine fully loaded (sights, quiver, 6 carbon arrows with broadheads, whisker biscuit, stabilizer, wrist strap, peep sight, and release loop) all for $700.00 with free shipping. The bow is amazing and extremely quiet. Tight grouping and very powerful. I shot 3 deer last year with it and was amazed how quiet it was. This bow didn't break the bank and was ready to go hunting as soon as I took it out of the box.
Now you take this either way you want but this is just my opinion. I am sure that other people out there will tell you something different or recommend a different bow. I think as far as money goes and the options you get along with the versatility and power this bow has to offer, I would consider it. You can do a search of some of the top bows out there and get a better idea but then again they will most likely point you towards those $1000 bows. I am not sure if this helps or not. I just know a little about the diamond outlaw based on my friend that had one. He did sell it and went with a Matthews Z7 but he has money and I don't.
Anyway sorry about the long reply, I hope this helps and good luck!
