Hi just moved to Northern Va from Suffolk. Been hunting in the Thompson WMA and GWNF, but haven't seen anything yet. ANy tips would be appreciated. THnaks!

Welcome. I have heard of success at Thompson over the years so guess just keep at it there. I have tried Rapidan WMA this year and there really doesn't appear to be any active food crops up in the mountains this year. I talked with DGIF yesterday and they pretty much confirmed it. They are seeing deer moving to/from fields and farm crops, so if you can find an area that leads to that, it should work. Good luck.
