New rifle

Postby virginiadeerhunter » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:09 pm

I just picked up a new rifle for 300 bucks. I've been a bowhunter and i'm new to guns, but its a remington model 700 bdl in 30-06, wood stock with a nikon prostaff scope. the gun is pristine and i believe is from the early nineties, recently i sighted it in out to 200 yards and it seems to be a very consistent shooting rifle. any info on this gun or feedback is appreciated.

Remington 700 in .30-06...what a beautiful rifle, you can't go wrong. You did good. I have one, same model and caliber, with a dark walnut stock and a 9x Bushnell scope. 8)

Nice gun! Just remember shooting accurately does not come naturally, practice, practice, just like you do with your bow! :D
