New to hunting in Virginia

Postby bigb05 » Sun Jan 03, 2010 4:58 pm

I have never hunted before but I'm willing to learn. Hoping to learn a few things to get me started next season. Just bought my fist rifle and went through the hunter education course. I plan on practicing all summer to get ready. Hoping also to maybe find someone who is willing to take me out and teach me. I live in Fredericksburg Va

Hey,

I am in Williamsburg, and I would be willing to give you some tips and if you want to make the trip down, I would take you to some places around here.

Hunter,
I don't mean to be nosy but I was wondering if we could link up. I have missed most of the seasons the last two years and I am about to transfer to WA in Jan. I have paid a membership for a hunting club here but I can't seem to get on any deer. I would really like to fill a tag before I leave VA. I am a faily new hunter having started in 2007 when I was stationed in GA and I keep being deployed through the season so I haven't been able to hone my skill. If you want to link up give me a holler.
