I just joined and just started hunting again last year. I got a 6 pt last year and cant wait for gun season this year. Can anyone tell me if doe n estrous works in mid October or should I wait until the rut? Also does the rut normally come in mid November in NC?

I'd wait until November when the rut is on. You don't want to scare the deer with something unnatural.
