Just found this forum and read some posts that were very informative and concise. Just wrapping up the second season for me with bow -- hadn't picked one up before August, 2010, and have discovered a real passion for the sport. It is with great sincerity that I can report some of the most exhilarating moments of my life have been due to standing in a tree trying to succeed as a bowhunter. I've also found a new respect for those that shoot bow; until now I hadn't realized the skill set required. I've been blessed with 21 Whitetails harvested, including a 12 pointer my first year. Now learning how difficult the late season game is; no matter really 'cause living the chance to hunt is of equal pleasure to me. One bad fault I've acquired is the typical "gadget rookie syndrome," but am fortunate enough to have an understanding wife as she watches the equipment accumulate. Looking forward to getting caught up on some of this terrific info here in this forum. Good luck to all for the remainder of the season and throughout the year as well.
