Ochoco unit for early bow season in OR

My friends and I have drawn an early season archery elk tag for the Ochoco unit and have never hunted there before. Can anyone give us some advice on areas to hunt? We have a scouting trip planned for early August, but we all know elk have different ranging areas before, during, and after the rut. Has anyone ever hunted here that can give us some ideas? Any info would be appreciated, Thanks :D :D
