I got a new T/C Omega and was wondering what kind of powder to use and how much as well as bullet type. Was thinking about using T/C shockwaves and pyrodex pelets 150gr. What do you think?

You may have to try a couple different types of bullet and different powder types and grains. I use a T/C mag sabot 240 gr. and 90 gr. of loose pyrodex and fly em good for 150 yds. Check with bambi killer and see what his load is.

My son Jason Has a TC omega and he uses TC XTP mag sabots in 300 grn. they load nicely. They use Hornady sabots with the ones we got from Cabela's and the sabots are real thin. They are $10.99 for 30 at Cabela's.
I know that some people are having problems with some sabots being to tight for the Omega's . I know buy my bullets and sabots in bulk. 50 bullets for $9.00 and 50 sabots for $6.14 . When I buy my sabots I order 100 to of set the price of shipping. The bullets I can get at Walmart in town.
