Sure there is. It looks like a spit fire mech head

That is sad to see but it is the harsh reality.
Thats why you have to be honestly confident with your shot placement.

She'll very likely survive that, not bleeding out the nose so thats a good sign the sinus area wasn't likely hit.

Thats a perfect example on why to buy an extra doe tag if you can afford it though, if you don't fill it you are out some money but if you see a doe like that you can put her out of her misery.

a friend of mine is a bioligist at one of the local check stations and she told me about something she saw kinda like this this year...she said she was checking a deer in an when she dumped the guts they all stayed in tact and she could see something hard in them,so she got to looking closer and found that the deer had been gut shot witha bow and the arrow broke off and sealed not letting the deer bleed and healed back up.said the mechanical broadhead never opened, never exited and was still on the shaft...

Yeah, not opening is one of the hits some of the early mechanical broadheads have taken over the years, supposedly the newer designs that don't need a rubber band to hold them closed while in flight are a lot more reliable to open.

From what i've read the new Rage Slipcam mechanicals garantee the blades will open and lock on impact.
