I just purchased a Parker Wildfire from a guy got a great deal on it cause he likes to buy a new bow every year. he bought this parker in october full price and only used it about 10 times, so its a steal deal just havent used a parker or been around them. parker bows

Postby Whitetail Assassin » Mon Jan 14, 2008 10:01 am

Well hopefully it will be a better bow than the force multiplier that nearly killed me.I know alot of people that really like them.I have never found one that felt right grip wise for me.For me the bow that feels right grip, balanced out is what I shoot I'm not a brand specific. I can tell you when the parker blew to pieces the sales rep had it fixed the very next day. They took limbs cams and cables off a bow in stock. The bow was 4 months old the first time it blew. Two months later it blew up again this time they replaced the whole bow.The force multiplier was a bad design third cam put to much stress on bottom limb.I don't believe they make the bow anymore. The people that shoot parker bows really like them for the most part.I'm not trying to scare you I just had a problem with one bow. There isn't a bow company in business that hasn't had a bow blow up. Parker doesn't put all the hype with advertisement behind there bows that alot of companies do.They try to make a very good product and let the bow do the advertising for them.

i own a parker wildfire XP and to me it shoots almost as well as a matthews drenalin. both are smooth drawing bows and the parker has a little more give than a drenalin.

RUMOR has that Parker is a Matthews in disguise.I have my dowbts about that.A friend of mine shots nothing but Matthews and says the Parker iis bascially identical to his Matthews.I shoot Reflex and have no experience with either bow enough to compare them.
Want my ammo?Ok,stand downrange.

i bought a parker buckhunter in the summer of 2005 and have had it every since. I've shot 5 deer with it so far and have shot clean through it all 5 times and the last one was a nice 9 point quartin to me i busted up his backside shoulder and still shot all the through he ran about 30 yards up hill and did a back flip. About the parker being a mathews in disguise i bought my parker at the matthews dealer back home and as far as i've heard the only place you can buy a parker is at a mathews dealer. Rumor has it that mathews owns parker but i don't know anything for sure.

Parker Compound Bows Inc. is a privately held company with 25 employees. Their 2007 sales totaled $4.1 million and are a single location company located in Staunton VA.

Mathews Inc is also a privately held company with 130 employees. Their 2007 sales totaled $32 million and they are also a single location company located in Sparta WI.

They are separate companies.

I shoot a Hoyt bow, However my brother bought a Parker Hornet and it was the worst bow that he has ever purchased had nothing but trouble with it from day one. paid over $600 and sold it at a fraction of that.

I love my Parker Wildfire, I have used it all season thus far and its light, small and most importantly it draws backs smooth, its quite and my arrows fly true. I cant wait to take a deer with this bow.

Absolutely a GREAT bow for the price tag. And I shot the matthews drenaline as well and the Parker feels similar and its much much cheaper, but I hope to one day purchase a mathews.
