perssimon pate for deer bait

i have 1 gallon of homemade perssimon paste and i was wandering how it would do as deer bait and attractant

I myself have never used it. But I am assuming if it is something sweet it can't hurt to give it a try.

I don't know about persimmon paste, but I used to hunt over Persimmon trees and I don't think there is a better attractant out there. When the persimmons are ready (Eat one, if they are not ready, you won't forget the pucker you get from it), the deer will be there.
