Nobody ever accused them of being smart...a couple of well placed .50 BMG rounds would do wonders to dampen their enthusiasm..

My opinion on the matter is that if everyone would educate and arm themselves take responsibility for there own safety instead of relying on someone else and learn to act when action is needed then we would see a lot less of this type of terrorism
what happened to the mind set of our country
what happened to the strength of our fathers and their fathers
I think we should look at our nations past and take note of how a great nation acts
we need to hike up our pants stop crying and power through as a nation

Pirating has been going on for thousands of years. Sorry, but that stuff doesnt stop for any country.

These people are more desperate than anything, and they have been getting away with things for too long. They will learn before too long, then they will switch up their tactics.

Seems like the more desperate they get,the more violent they get too.Desperation goes a long way whether we like it or bnot.History shows that as well as how far some people will go to get what thwy want or need as the case may be.Personally,if a man steals food to feed his family thats one thing,I can live with that. But ambushing shipsholding crews for ransom now that I say take em down hard and leave no bad guys alive.

I believe it was president Thomas Jefferson who first had to deal with pirates. from a U.S. perspective.
In fact, there is reference to the subject in the Marine Corps Hymn, ("to the shores of Tripoli") He sent Marines over there and they took care of the problem. I'll bet you get could get some Marines to sign up for "pirate duty" no sweat. No matter their plight in life, they were wrong then, and they are wrong now. Some people only respect absolute violence done against them, then they go away. That is just life.
