I know this post was started a few months back but I'm new to the site and just thought I would get my two cents in. If you are wondering about practicing with broadheads, think about like this. A field point keeps the shaft strait from the tip to the fletching and the fletching affects the flight of the arrow, now add a broadhead....with the exception of the difference in material, you have essentially added fletching to both the front and back of the arrow shaft. That being said, YES!!!!! Practice with broadheads. I might also mention, for those of you that don't already do this, it might be a good idea to match up your individual blades on your broadheads so that they are in line with the fletchings. Happy hunting.
