HMMM? cheap and quality

Postby carnivore » Mon Nov 29, 2004 9:44 am

Cheap and Quality are at opposite ends of the dictionary! But walmart.com would be a place to start like em or not walmart is the highest gun retailer, probably in the world. the technology is out there and every one has a piece of the pie in one form or another. I'm hearing a lot of good from the optima.I think traditions or cva make it and the styling and supposedly the quality are unsurpassable next to the thompson encore at half the price chk. em out a lot of guys are bragging on em.

You can get a CVA Eclipse with starter kit for around $200. It's a good in-line, handles 150gr of Pyrodex pellets, and shoots CVA Power Belt bullets into 3" at 150 yards. I bought one a few years ago and love it.

i got my ml at a pawn shop. it was in terrible condition, got it for $80. carried it home and commenced to scrubbing. after about an hour or so it was nice and new looking, and shoots nice groups at 50yds.(i use open sights). 90- 100 gr. pyrodex blackpowder., and either a lead ball or lead hollow point sabot. both work good.

i have heard very good things about all of the CVA guns and the cheapest u can fine for $130 dollars. which is not a bad price for the CVA Wolf at wal-mart which runs for $130, it uses 209 shotgun primers and is break open which makes cleaning and loading extremely simple.
