Public Hunting Land

I have been making a trip to the Indian Lake area for the early archery season every year now for 5 year and this year i want to try somewere closer. I live in rotterdam(just outside albany schenectady area). I have heard that there is some pretty good public land in saratoga county but i dont know where any of it is. If anyone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it. I have looked on the dec web site but there maps were not all that good. Maybe i was looking at the wrong ones i dont know. Just need a spot for early season northern zone.. Once the southern zone opens im all set.
