public land in souther Illinois

Can anyone give me information on public deer hunting land in Southern Illinois for a non-resident? I want to hunt an area that has potential for at least 140 class deer and better.

Im not from illinios but the horicon marsh is nice. I hunted it three years ago and although I did not shoot anything i saw a couple nice bucks that would not come into bow range. my brother kill ed a 144 1/2 inch swamp buck. I suggest you bring a GPS.
