Quick pre-rut?

New to the forum.... In VA where I hunt, it seemed like pre-rut action lasted a day and then all the big bucks were gone. I bagged an 11 pointer, but have seen little else this year. Is anyone else having similar issues? Will they come back out? Thoughts

Hi I don't know if this is legal to do but this Month's Deer and Deer hunting magazine had a huge write up about phases of the rut. Should check it out. Have a good one, try Blind calling
Good Firm Grip, Watch the Cross Hairs, Squeeze the Trigger, Wait for Recoil!
