Rage

Postby Bushie Jackman » Tue Aug 12, 2008 12:33 pm

After seeing what the rage broadheads did to a few bow-kill deer my buddy harvested last year, I went out and bought the rage three blades for this season.
I don't think i'll have any flight problems with them, I have been shooting three bladed broadheads all of my hunting life, No Problems.
Let me know how you do with the 2 bladed rage's!

i used the two blade last year and absolutlety loved them. I started bow hunting last year and killed two deer withthe 2 blade broadhead. Neither one went more than 35 yards from where they were shot. i highly recommend them.

shot a doe last week, lung shot, she ran twenty yards and dropped like a rock, just like the 2 inch blades were suppose to do, that hole was huge and did a lot of damage

Man, just when cantelope and rusty barrel season is about to open here. I guess I will have to stick with the .270.

I was looking to get the Rage 2-Blade broadhead, but does anyone know if it comes in an 85 grain? Or does the grain size of a broadhead really make that much of a difference??

It will make a difference in your front of center, kinetic energy and speed. As far as I have seen a read, they only come in 100gr. If you have been shooting 85gr heads in the past and want to go with these, I dont think you will have any trouble. You will just need to resight and retune your bow to these broadheads.

i shoot the 3 blade...i have gotten 3 does with them so far...they work amazingly! huge entry and exit hole. I heard that alot of people didnt like the rage cuz they didnt open and not much penetration....in my opinion htat is a bunch of BS! they fly true like a FP and do devastating damage. Best brodhead i have ever owned. So if u are having second thoughts about buying some, i say its deff worth it once u see the hole these things put in the deer. great product. Also i believe from testing that the 3 blade gets better penetration, not as big of a hole to start off with but u gotta think that the 3 blades will have more cutting surface area than a 2 balde.
why pass up a 2.5 year old? Because next year he will be a 3.5 year old.
