I have had a cross bow for ten plus years. I have used the singe and multiple dot scopes. I personally like the single dot scopes as there is less chance of using the wrong dot and my single was good out to 40 yrds any way. The big problem can be the sun light. I have had it where the sun has blinded me looking through the scope and not being able to see the dot(s). Over all I do like them though, Hope this helps! Wayne
