i just switched to a short axle bow, 38" the hoyt ultratec. with this bow i switched to using a release. the question is, why is a wrist strap type release preferred over the t-handle type release for hunting? i find the wrist strap type rather cumbersome. thoughts?

well i use a wrist release and really like it i heard that it is better than a t-handle because it is attacheed to you you never have to worry about holding it or anything like that and also helps you do the samthing repidly

A wrist type release is less prone to torgue, where as the t handle type you grip in your hand can be twisted by your hand and torque...either type are good, use the one your comfortable with, but i prefer to let my arm draw my bow rather than my hand.
