Remington Model 700 VS SF II?

Postby matt_3479 » Tue Jan 12, 2010 8:42 pm

I am very interested in the Remington Model 700 Sendero SF II then i saw the Remington Model 700 VS SF II and it caught my attention. I would be interested in purchasing the 22-250 Remington for them coyotes and small game. I have hunted small game all my life with a 223. Remington but it isn't my rifle so i want my own and this is a really nice rifle and i prefer the 22-250 because of its speed. What do you think of this rifle?

The only difference I see in the two is a scope and about $27 and I'm not sure that the scope comes with the Sendero SF II. I like a Remington 700. The action is nice and they tend to shoot good once you find the load it likes.
Curiosity killed the cat, but I was a suspect for a while......

They are the same rifle. The V stands for Varmit. All it is, is a Sendero in smaller calibers. They both have fluted barrel, same exact stock, and same high-grade action. I have the VS SF II in .223 and a older Sendero in 25-06. Same exact gun. Good one to go with!!
